Job Description:
Our client is seeking a IT Consultant to assist in moving its enterprise integration platform from Oracle SOA Suite to a cloud solution. This resource shall assist in the development of new integration solutions in a cloud environment.
Candidate should have strong hands-on experience in technologies related to application integration.
Suitable candidate should have implemented at least 2 projects with integration platforms like Oracle SOA, Microsoft Azure and other cloud-based solutions.
16+ years of IT industry experience including 6+ years of hands-on experience developing integration solutions.
Demonstrated experience with Enterprise Service Bus tuning, configuration, performance enhancement and troubleshooting.
Strong design and troubleshooting skills with an understanding and/or development experience in Web Services WSDL 1.1/WSDL 2.0, XML, REST, J2EE,.NET, Security, ITIL processes, API development, SOA Governance, Web Services Management tools, and Object-Oriented Programming
Experience in working with enterprise connectors and developing custom connectors.
Experience working with enterprise platforms including Salesforce, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow, SAP ARIBA, Box, Oracle ERP
Development of integrations with SDLC methodologies: Agile and Waterfall
Experience with various integration protocols for file transfer and encryption including FTP/FTPS/SFTP/PGP/GPG
Experience with Middleware components including Message Queues, Business Rules, and Enterprise Service Bus
Experience working in cloud platforms and hybrid integration configuration such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Oracle Cloud
Experience with development and concepts of Microservices is a plus.
Ability to effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.
Ability to achieve results under limited direction.
Ability to complete project tasks individually or as part of larger team.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates IT project management, engineering, maintenance, QA, and risk management.
Plans, coordinates, and monitors project activities.
Develops technical applications to support users.
Develops, implements, maintains, and enforces documented standards and procedures for the design, development, installation, modification, and documentation of assigned systems.
Provides training for system products and procedures.
Performs application upgrades.
Performs monitoring, maintenance, or reporting on real- time databases, real-time network and serial data communications, and real-time graphics and logic applications.
Troubleshoots problems.
Ensures project lifecycle is in compliance with District standards and procedures.
